The Longest And Straightest Golf Grip Ever!
The Amazing Straight Lock Grip
The Straight Lock
Slicing And Hooking –
To all Golfers,
We’ve developed an amazing new grip that eliminates slices and
hooks. The Straight Lock Grip was engineered to literally lock your hands straight meaning the club face is guaranteed to
stay square through impact. This grip just plain eliminates slices and hooks. I’ve been testing it on students for
the past couple of months and the results are absolutely phenomenal. We are offering a limited time introductory
special only for current Simple Golf newsletter readers.
Note: This is an unique new way of gripping the club. It is not
mechanical device. It's not something you put on your club. It's
a new grip that's easy to learn. It uses the Power Thumb grip with
the top hand but has a unique way of gripping the club with the
bottom hand that prevents the club face from closing through impact.
It certainly is a USGA legal way of gripping the club.
The Straight Lock
Grip is an update and we believe a significant improvement to our
original Power Thumb Grip. The Power Thumb Grip still works fine. You certainly can continue using it. However, the
Straight Lock Grip will be of tremendous value to anyone who hooks or draws more than they would
NEW STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONAL
The Straight Lock Grip comes in
an Ebook comes in an easy to read PDF format. It is complete with captioned pictures with step by step easy to
understand directions. We’ve been testing this new step by step format and we have found that golfers learn even
faster with the step by step pictures than the do with videos. Yes, the videos do look pretty but for quickly
learning a new physical skill the step by step pictures win even time. These lessons come in an Ebook (PDF) format
so you can print out the directions and take a copy with you to the range. Having pictures and step by step
directions available at the range really speeds up learning times.
ELIMINATES SLICES OR HOOKS CAUSED BY THE
The Straight Lock Grip completely eliminates slices and
hooks caused by the hands which are the majority of slices and hooks. Big hooks, snap hooks, duck hooks and big
banana balls will now be a thing of the past.
PATH HOOKS OR BODY
Even though your hands come through with the club face square it is still possible to
hook or slice if your swing path is way off plane. These are called a “path hooks or slices” or a “body hooks or
slices”. These hooks or slices are generally the higher less severe type of sweeping hooks that you’ll
So even if you come at the ball with
an Outside-To-Inside swing path or an Inside-To-Outside swing path you’ll likely only wind up with only a gentle
fade or draw or a slight push or pull.
The result is your shot dispersion pattern will shrink. If you
normally hit the ball 20 left and 20 yards right now you’ll only hit it 10 left and 10 yards
Yes, we have an easy cure for “path caused” hooks and slices.
We’ll shortly be releasing a Secrets of the Single Plane Swing
Ebook that guarantees an on-plane (on-path) golf swing. Look for
an announcement about that Ebook next week.
THE POWER THUMB TOP HAND GRIP IS THE SAME
The Power Thumb was designed to prevent the club face from opening
up through impact. It does a great job at that and the result is the very few Simple Swingers ever slice a ball
anymore. So we have kept the Power Thumb. However the problem was that most golfers converting to Simple Swing have
been used to traditional swings where they had to work real hard to close the club face enough to square it up at
impact. All too often these new Simple Swingers had some bad habits left over from their old swings. The biggest
problem was over an active bottom hand that closed the club face through impact resulting in a hook. The Straight
Lock Grip uses a “locked” position for the bottom hand so the club face can’t close through impact. This means that
hooks are a thing of the past.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE STRAIGHT LOCK GRIP
I’ve been working on variations of this grip for the past two years. I was looking for a grip
that would prevent my students, especially those with over active bottom hands from closing (or opening) the club
through impact. Golfers aren’t supposed to straighten the bottom wrists and hit with their bottom hand through
impact but the fact is an awful lot of golfers do that. So instead of preventing golfers from using their bottom
hands I tried to find a way to keep the club face square even if they hit with their bottom
The result was the “locking” position of the bottom hand in the
Straight Lock Grip. The first time I tried I tried the Straight Lock Grip I knew it was a winner. It was
designed for full swing shots but it works fine for
short game shots also. I immediately converted to it.

Professional says about the Straight Lock Grip
STRAIGHT LOCK GRIP TESTING
Everybody found they hit straighter shots with it.
Almost everybody gained distance with it. Most often the distance gained was about 5 to 10 yards. Many of the
testers said they had more consistent or solid shots. No one lost distance with it. No one hit the ball worse with
Yes, some testers said the new grip felt “funny” or “weird” at first. That’s
normal; all new grips are going to feel “different” until you get use to it. Everyone adjusted to the new grip
within one or two days. Some people said it helped them stay on-plane. (I didn’t expect

ACCURACY IS INCREASED
Since the club face stays square to the swing plane on your
backswing and downswing you no longer have to struggle to close the club face at impact. It automatically stays
square through impact now. Our testing indicates that your shot dispersion pattern will shrink by 50%. That means
if you normally spray the balls 30 yards left and 30 yards right you now only stray 15 yards left and 15 yards
right. That means no more balls in the woods.
The Straight Lock Grip allows you to add power
with the bottom hand. Often adding power with the bottom hand (flexing the bottom wrist through impact) leads
to closing of the club face through impact but not with the Straight Lock Grip. The Straight Lock Grip adds
power to you swing. Most people pick up 5 to 10 yards with the Straight Lock Grip.
SQUARE TO THE SWING PLANE™
Straight Lock Grip allows you to keep the club face square to your swing plane (and swing path) so you’ll find this
to be an exceptionally accurate way to grip the club. You’ll no longer have to open the club face on the backswing
and then exactly time the closing of the club face through impact. Now it will just stay square. Since the Straight
Lock Grip keeps the club face square to your swing path it also helps you quickly identify swing path
